Steve Smith - Biography

Destinys Agent Photographers founder is Steve Smith, who became interested in photography at the age of seven. Steve spent much of his childhood taking photographs, building cameras and developing his artistic and creative vision.

Attending college, where he obtained a BTEC in Photography and Design Steve went on to work in several photographic studios in London. Under the guidance of professional photographers he studied all forms of photography and further developed skills in commercial and product imagery.

Steve moved, for a while, into IT work which among other things enabled him to pursue an interest in digital photographic techniques including a good foundation in Adobe Photoshop.

Becoming concerned with the prevalent 'conveyer belt' style of contemporary image makers, Steve has launched Destinys Agent Photographers to bring back the attention to detail, the professionalism and creativity that is so often missing when clients commission a photographer and interpret their vision. Steve believes that every image should only leave the studio when it is perfect to both his and his clients complete satisfaction.
